Who can open an account with Send?
This article explains who can open a Send account, so you know what to expect before you sign up.
Before you start
- Decide whether you're opening a personal account (just for you) or a business account (for your company or other entity).
- Have your phone and email handy so we can stay in touch.
Personal accounts

- Aged 18 or over.
- Have the legal capacity to enter into and be bound by our Terms and Conditions.
- Live in a country where Send offers personal accounts and are legally permitted to use our services.
- All applications remain subject to identity verification and approval by Send.
Unless Send agrees otherwise, you may only hold one personal Send account. You may also apply for a separate business account using a different email address, provided you are authorised to act on behalf of that business.

Step 2: Sign up and verify your details
Send is required to obtain information and carry out checks to meet its compliance obligations under applicable laws and regulatory requirements. Follow the prompts on screen to set up your account and provide the details we ask for.
Step 3: Complete identity verification
As part of sign-up, we'll need to confirm who you are. Send may use third-party providers to help verify your identity and the documents you give us.
