Learn how Send uses cookies and browser storage
There are two different things at work when you use the Send Portal:
- Cookies. Cookies are small files saved on your device when you visit a website. On the Send Portal, cookies are used by a third-party analytics service to help us understand how customers use the portal so we can improve it.
- Browser storage. Send uses your browser's storage to keep you signed in. This is different from cookies. Your sign-in stays active for a period of time, then refreshes automatically. After that, you'll need to sign in again.
Manage cookies and browser storage
You can manage cookies through your browser settings. Available controls may vary depending on your browser and our website settings.
- Open your browser settings.
- Find the Privacy or Cookies section.
- Choose how you want cookies handled, or clear existing cookies.
- Save your changes.
To clear your sign-in details, you can:
- Sign out of the Send Portal at any time, or
- Clear your browser's site data through your browser settings.
What happens next
- If you block cookies, the portal may still work, but we will not be able to see how customers use it for improvements.
- If you clear your browser storage or sign out, you will need to sign in again next time you visit.
