Are there any fees for opening an account?
This article explains the fees that apply to opening, holding and closing a Send Payments account, for both individual and business customers. Costs that may apply to international transfers are separate from your account fees and are not covered here.
Your account fees
- Opening your account - there is no sign-up or application fee.
- Holding your account - there are no monthly, ongoing or platform fees for your account.
- Closing your account - there is no exit or cancellation fee.
This applies equally to individual and business accounts.
Transfer costs are separate
- Costs that may apply when you make an international transfer are not covered in this article.
- Receiving or intermediary banks may charge their own fees, which are outside Send Payments' control.

- Once your account is open, you're ready to use Send Payments.
- You will not be charged any ongoing fees for holding your account.
